Bilbao, World Food Capital, welcomes World´s 50 Best RestaurantsWednesday, June 20th 2018
Yesterday, Bilbao hosted one of the most important culinary events in world gastronomy: the World´s 50 BEST restaurants, which recognise the best restaurants in the world. Various activities accompanied the event in the most emblematic locations in the Basque country: the Basque Culinary Center in Donostia-San Sebastián and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the great award-winning chefs and, particularly our Group Ambassador, Eneko Atxa, who received the first prize for Sustainable Restaurant, just as in 2014. This week, we had the opportunity to be present at the Azurmendi Restaurant with pairings exclusively designed for our most iconic wine, Faustino I, 1994 vintage (officially rated excellent), a wine that has been enjoyed by the most demanding international culinary figures.
